This is my August wrap up!
I started and finished 6 books this month, 4 of them on my kindle. Every month I say I’m going to read more physical books and then I never do because I have so many books I haven’t read on my kindle yet! I also have a few eARCs to catch up on, and so I’m going to be using my kindle quite a bit for the forseeable future!

Serpent & Dove – 4.5 Stars
Rebel Girls – 3 Stars
I had a really nice mix of books this month, and though I didn’t finish the other 2 books I started this month, or the other 6 I’m also in the middle of! I tried to have a mixture of books I was really excited to read (All The Bad Apples, Wicked Fox and Serpent & Dove) and ones I hadn’t heard of before (Rebel Girls and The Casquette Girls). I also started We Hunt the Flame (I’m putting this on hold for a bit) and The Priory of the Orange Tree (Loving this so far!) so it’s been an interesting and enjoyable mix.
I’m going to be writing reviews for a few of these books, but not all of them. I’ve seen a lot of things online about an author being really nasty to reviewers who haven’t given their book 5 stars so I wont be reviewing it here.
I have been really bad at updating the blog this month as I’ve been ill and at two festivals, one of which was over a week long and in a different country, as well as having a busy month. I promise to try and do better this month!
