Wrap Ups

Reading Wrap Up – February 2020

Hi everyone, apologies about the late post, it’s been a bit of a weird/hectic week this week, so I didn’t end up getting around to writing this up properly, which kind of follows how February was for me on the whole anyway!

So anyway, here’s my February reading wrap up! These are the books I finished, not everything that I read this month, as there are quite a few books I started but haven’t finished yet. I really didn’t read as much as I wanted to, and after January being a good reading month, I was hoping Feb would follow suit. It was a bit of a manically busy and hectic month, with a lot of things going on which didn’t give me much time for reading. I’ve also been in a bit of a reading slump, which has made reading pretty hard. I’m hoping I will snap out of it soon, as I’m really excited about a lot of amazing looking books, but being ill and then some books I was excited about not live up to my expectations means I kind of put off reading some things! Hopefully that it’s just me though, so I ended the month by putting a few books on hold.

I enjoyed the books I finished though, especially Priory because it’s honestly the most wonderful book! I also had a reread to try to get myself out of my slump, which I hope has worked!

I read:
The Sisters Grimm by Menna van Praag – 4 Stars
The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon – 5 Stars
Hellboy: Seed of Destruction 3 by Mike Mignola – 5 Stars
The Truth is a Cave in the Black Mountains by Neil Gaiman- 5 Stars

I’ll be putting my review of The Sisters Grimm up on here soon, as I’ve not had the time to finish it, and the others (minus Hellboy) have mini reviews up on goodreads!

What was your reading in Feb like?
